Living products stitched together to build a harmonious ecosystem that grows with you
ByteQuilt is a research and development company focused on building re-imagined infrastructure and applications through research in bio-inspired computing.
ByteQuilt had been living behind "coming soon" pages for too long. The products were real, the work was substantial, but there was no front door. Nothing that told the story of what ByteQuilt actually is to prospective clients and recruiters. That needed to change.
I built out a full multi-page site covering the product ecosystem, individual product pages, and an applications overview. The design leans on Phino for theming and GSAP for scroll-driven motion, with Three.js adding dimensional depth where it counts. The whole thing ships on Next.js through Vercel. The hero section went through a revision too. I swapped the original for living patches that better fit the ByteQuilt theme of products stitched together.
Honestly, the best part was the dogfooding. Building a real site with Phino surfaced a ton of adoption friction I wouldn't have found otherwise. Things you only feel when you're the one consuming your own system. That feedback is already feeding back into Phino improvements.
There's still a client intake flow and case studies to build out, but the foundation is solid. ByteQuilt finally has a front door.
What should our next patch in the quilt be?
