Phino UI | Coming soon page
And so the metamorphosis begins...
I thought butterflies always get all the spotlight for their beauty, so I figured I'd try a moth or a dragonfly this time. The moth won. They don't just eat clothes!
Beyond the fun of picking the mascot, the real goal here was to get Phino's web presence off the ground. A proper coming soon page with deployment infrastructure in place. I got the page live on Vercel, connected it to phino-ui.com, and knocked out the terms and privacy pages while I was at it. Foundation work that needed to happen before Phino could have a real public launch.
The moth itself is built with Three.js and Phino's own design tokens. It flaps its wings when you hover, with particle dust trailing off of it. This was my first time working with Three.js, and I'll be honest, learning a new library in real-time is fun but it definitely adds to the timeline. There's still some flickering when the wings overlap that I've minimized but haven't fully solved.
The deployment pipeline is in place, the domain is connected, and Phino has its first public face. Now it's about building out the real site behind it.
What do you think? Feel free to go and check it out.
